Hi Everyone,
In October of 2022, when I told Vickie that I would give her a last wish concert, I assumed it would be a solitary effort. No one could know then, how much time Vickie would have, so I didn’t think it wise to plan for anything other than the simplest presentation. To my surprise, there were people who offered their time, effort and expense to help round out the event.
One result of that is the video capture of the show at Knuckleheads in Kansas City, MO. We can all thank A.J. Chippero for taking it upon himself to record this and Robert Frazza for mixing the audio. Some of you may have met them at the show. I consider them both great friends.
On this anniversary of the show on April 10, 2023, A.J. is ready to share the video with you on a song by song basis. As it was recorded with a stationary camera, the audience wasn’t captured but you know you were there. I’m so glad that we can remember our time together this way.
In closing, I would only wish that we now also remember the living. Vickie’s husband Chris was the support she needed in order for her to be her best Vickie-self. He was her rock when she was healthy and when she was not. Thank you Chris.
